As a former highschool football player, I can attest to the fact that anyone can attend highschool football games. High school football games are usually a community event that is available for everyone to enjoy.

High school football games were fun events that had the whole town enthralled, and they boost the morale of the school, team, and town.

High School Football is just like college football, or NFL football, except it’s played by local members from the team’s high school. High School football is pretty competitive, but most prospects of high school football don’t have dreams and aspirations of playing pro football. 

They are mainly just looking for an athletic outlet to channel some extra energy into. 

During the football season, players attend practice, attend games, study plays, workout, and do much more. To be a member of a high school football team, you must be physically fit and try out. 

Most high school football teams do not sell tickets, but some do. In the case of the Scottsdale Unified School District, the team does sell tickets to their games. 

This means attendance is allowed to anyone who purchases a ticket. High school football is a competitive sport played by teenagers across the United States, and throughout some parts of the world.

It’s a physically and mentally demanding sport that requires many qualities such as speed, strength, and endurance. High school football games are usually played on Friday nights, under the lights, with the stands filled with enthusiastic parents and fans. 

Most high schools provide the equipment, and players wear helmets, shoulder pads, and other protective equipment in order to protect themselves from injury. The game is divided into 4 quarters, with each quarter lasting only 15 minutes. To be successful in High School football, one must be dedicated to doing hard work and participating in high levels of teamwork. 

Players spend countless hours practicing drills, learning plays, and building camaraderie. A high school football player must also have mental endurance, by showcasing skills that allow them to perform well under lots of pressure. 

High School football is a chance for young men and women to shape their character and instill important values such as team work, discipline, and perseverance. 

High school football can also provide opportunities to young people in the form of scholarships for college and athletic growth.

This means anyone can purchase a ticket, if there are ticket sales. Regardless of the individual’s connection to the school, anybody can attend.

While attendance is usually open to the games, some limitations may be enacted. For example, some schools may limit the amount of ticket sales for a game, therefore stopping the number at a rounded total. 

As well, schools may put an age restriction on attendees, limiting the guests to be only of a certain age group. 

Some schools may also enact other prohibitions such as outside food and drinks, forcing the attendees to buy food from the concession stands. 

They may also have security checks that checks of bags or metal detectors to prevent folks from bringing contraband into the football game.  When two schools are involved in a game, the main decision making of who can attend games is left up to the school district. 

The school district plays a vital part in determining the admission policies for high school football games. The school district is responsible for setting guidelines and enforcing restrictions. 

Some schools may enact a social distance policy in order to combat covid.  Family members of the team players have to follow these rules, just as any attendee would. 

A band member may be able to sit on the sidelines, but is still considered a attendee of the game. So a band member would have to follow the same guidelines. 

If more fans come than tickets are sold, inclusion to the game would have to be restricted to just the ticket holders. 

High schools have recently become extra cautious at games on the East Coast because of recent incidents at games. 

Attending a high school football game is a privilege, and it’s important to respect the policies put in place by the school district. Failure to follow these policies could result in ejection from the game.
